Traditional Finnish Sauna Evening (Evening Excursion)

Good fun with Finnish sauna and Ostrobothnian traditions!

Traditional and idyllic Ostrobothnian milieu as well as small humoristic details surround us during the evening. To have strength to relax in sauna, the evening begins traditionally: with porrige! Sauna costumes will be waiting to be dressed up. Host has heated the traditional wooden sauna for hours so that it will give pleasant and steamy warmth for guests to enjoy.

In addition to relaxation in sauna dips in the cold and hot pools outside bring stimulating effect to blood circulation. For Finns sauna is a normal method of relaxation and a common part of everyday life in Finland. Clean, fresh and relaxed it is time to enjoy the hostess' traditional buffet style dinner and the cozy athmosphere of the main building.

Excursion includes: Guiding, transportation (appr. 50 minutes from Kuortane), sauna and sauna costumes and buffet style dinner.
