Cultural and historical day in Lapua (1 Day)

Due to the history Lapua it is said to be one of the most patriotic towns in Finland. Interesting history will be followed throughout the excursion. Traditional large two-storey wooden houses seen from the river side during guided river cruise remind us from the rich past of agriculture in the town. Lunch will be served in one of these South Ostrobothnian traditional wooden houses where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the old time farmer's life. Strong historical background has not stopped developing new ideas and local enterprises to internationalize their businesses. Visit to family owned jackuard weaving mill and cultural centre will show us stories of the nowadays success.

Excursion includes: transportation, guiding, traditional Finnish buffet style lunch, river cruise and entrance fee in exhibition and museum of Cultural Centre.
